John Hoey

Litigation Department – Solicitor

After a first career working in construction as a welder, John studied law at Kingston University and completed his Legal Practice Course at Guildford University of Law.

He went on to train with a London firm qualifying in October 2009. He moved to the Isle of Wight in 2012 and now lives in Ryde.

John has a wealth of expertise in Dispute Resolution and assists clients by providing practical advice on how to resolve the issues that have arisen either by court proceedings or through alternative dispute resolution methods.

He takes a practical, understanding approach to his client’s legal issues and accepts instructions from both claimants and defendants guiding them from the early stages of a dispute through to a satisfactory settlement.

In 2012 John completed a Master of Laws Degree in Dispute Resolution obtaining a Commendation and is a member of the Isle of Wight Law Society.
